State of the Art Dental Hygiene
A One-Day Hands-On Workshop
Ms. Arvie Malik and Ms. Ara Aguiar, present an intensive and practical workshop showing how a strong dental hygiene practice makes for healthy patients and a healthy office.
Participants will focus on clinically relevant information that is needed in a successful esthetic restorative or prosthodontic dental practice, and use that information as they perform their dentistry with the aid of the clinical microscope.
This is your chance to experience an entirely new and exciting aspect of dental hygiene! This invigorating one-day hands-on course allows the dental hygienist to be introduced to the newest technologies in the field of dental hygiene such as magnification, illumination, endoscopic procedures and laser therapy. You will “wet your appetite” for sophisticated technical adjuncts as well as develop advanced instrumentation skills and proper ergonomics to protect your health. Even if you never use these technologies again, the experience will greatly improve your treatment outcomes and ignite your passion for hygiene. This course consistently earns rave reviews from participants.
When you leave this course you will be able to:
- Learn skills that will improve your results for patients and start your journey as an advanced periodontal therapist.
- Visualize the sub-gingival area while utilizing the latest evidence-based technological tools.
- Develop treatment planning strategies and verbal skills to enhance treatment profitability and increase your value to the entire dental team.
This workshop combines lecture and hands-on formats along with the small class size to provide individual, needs-specific mentoring from instructors to participants.
Students are encouraged to bring a challenging or interesting case for review with the instructors and possible sharing with the entire class.
