The latest innovations in clinical dental hygiene are taking clinicians to the next level in providing patient care. With the aid of the fiberoptic endoscope, the clinician can visually assess the tooth surfaces and anatomy in which they will be instrumenting.

These techniques will provide avenues to improve the ergonomics of the clinician that could extend their practice life and a higher level of good health. This course will present the fiberoptic endoscope and the clinical microscope in the light of the potential they have for expanding the capabilities of the dental hygienist.
