Lloyd P. Nattkemper, D.D.S. maintains a full-time practice in periodontics, periodontal microsurgery and implantology in Monterey, California where he has practiced since 1989. He is a 1983 graduate of the UCSF School of Dentistry, completed residencies in general practice and periodontics at the West Los Angeles V.A. Medical Center, and practices in Santa Rosa, California until 1988. Dr. Nattkemper has taught in the undergraduate periodontal department at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry from 1986 to 1995 and at the Cabrillo College School of Dental Hygiene since 1995. He has used the operating microscope in his practice since 1996 for the majority of his surgical procedures, and is a charter member of the Academy of Microscopy Enhanced Dentistry. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the California Society of Periodontists. He is the Immediate Past President of the Monterey Bay Dental Society and Editor of “The SmileLine”, the MBDS newsletter.
